Feeling heartbeat in ears

I had my PM inserted on 3/4/19. Often I can now feel my heartbeat in one or both of my ears. Is this common?

Thank you!

You may be experiencing a "patulous eustacian" issue.  Check it out!

A question - does it only happen when you have one ear on a pillow?  or does it happen while you are standing or sitting, also?

IF this is the case, it is normal, you have just never experienced it before.  Common, believe it or not.

In my case, this was the scenario: I could hear myself breathe ------  I could hear myself speak ---- if I bent over and held that position, the symptoms would dissappear, until I stood straight up again.  Most common cause? - Loss of weight.  Some of the "fat" that keeps the tubes closed has receeded.  ENT Doc stated the Rx is pretty simple: Eat more ice cream sundaes, cookies, cake, etc.  Grow some blubber!
