Good day
I am going for Sergey tomorrow and I am scarred. It is my fist time. My hobby is spraying cares, riding motorcycle, hunting and fishing, welding and woodworking. I perhaps need to stop these things or don't I.
Regards

Your quality of life will improve significantly

Hi. Wellcome to the forum.
I know how you feeland trust me just try to relax. All will go as planned during surgery, and after a short period your quality of life will improve in every aspect
You will be able to do most of the hobbies you asked. But you should talk to your doctors about all of them, and you should tell him/her in detail. For example some welding can cause potential issues, but it all depends on what kind of welding you talking about, machines used etc
The bottom line is, maybe you will have decrease the magnitude doing of couple of them, but believe me yourquality of life will improve significantly which will make you enjoy some other hobbies that you were not able to do before the surgery
good luck
It's not that limiting

I got my PM in June of last year. I'm just finishing a vacation in Roatan; did 22 scuba dives, maximum depth 100'. At home, woodworking is my hobby, I have a 3 hp drum sander, planers, saws, and use them all with no problem. I've been told not to use a gas powered chainsaw, but I do use an electric. I ride my ATV in the bush with no problems, and I use my gas snowblower. We have an induction cooktop and I use it all the time with no problem.
I've been told no arc welding. I'll bet that'll be your only practical limitation. I haven't felt this good in years, and I hope you feel the same.
You know you're wired when...
The meaning of personal computer is taken a step further.

I am 100% pacemaker dependant and have been all my life. I try not to think about how a little metal box keeps me alive - it would drive me crazy. So I lead a very active life.
talk to your surgeon

Make sure your surgeon knows your hobbies! You should be able to do all of that after, perhaps with some modifications.
Do you shoot left handed? They usually put the device on the left but if you shoot left handed you might want it on the right so the stock doesn't hit it.
You didn't say why you need the pacer. If you will be using a feature called rate responses, which gets our rate up for us on exertion, then the motorcycle vibrations may trick the pacer into thinking you are working out. It's not dangerous but if feels odd if you aren't expecting it.
Ask about welding. Generally we can't ARC weld, other types are ok.
