Heartburn lasting days

Hi all, I've seen a lot about heartburn on here but still had some questions I was hoping might be answered. I've had my PM since I was 6 months old, now I'm 20. I had a bicycle stress test about a week ago and a check up, I am due for a new unit in Feb. Three days after this I got bad heart burn that has consistantly lasted the past four days, pain that gets worse when I take a deep breath to the point where it wakes me up and I'm taking very shallow breaths cause it's too painful. I've never had acid reflux like this before, and tums don't really help. Any suggestions on what I should do? My next step is probably to call my cardiologist, I just wanted to know if anyone had ever had anything similar, or had heartburn that lasted that long.

call your doctor

That doesn't sound cardiac, so I'd call both the cardiologist and internist.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
