Diaphragm Twitch - After Adjustment

Is it normal after installation and adjustment of your ICD to still get the occasional diaphragm twitch? Or, are there people out there with one installed and never get a twitch of any kind?

In the week I've had mine, I always get one when seated (especially at funny angles) and lying down but never standing.

Any advice much appreciated.

Mine was twitching quite a bit after adjustment.Like you, only when I sat in certain positions. I had to go in two more times for further adjustments. Its a pain but it was worth it. It feels really weird and freaky when that thing twitches. You don't want that. When I went back in, the adjusters even had me get up and walk around and move in different sitting positions to make sure it wasn't doing it anymore. For sure go back and tell them to adfust it. And do what I did. Get up, walk around, sit in different positions, especially the ones that make it twitch to make sure it won't do it again. It might take a couple of visits but they will work it out.

Mine twitches almost constantly.  I went in 5-6 times to try and get it fixed.  Nothing has worked.  It's my constant reminder, which I'm trying to get over mentally.  The Dr. even said the lead is working (he determined which lead it is) and that it's going to be my normal.  Should I accept this or get another opinion.  I'm debating heading into Boston for another opinion.

Go get another opinion. That is not normal. If they can't rid of it with settings, it's possible the lead is in a bad spot. The doctor who put it there is unlikely to tell you that.

Happy to report that I went to see the doctor a week ago to get my ICD adjusted again and since then, no twitching of any kind!
