12 Lead ECG

Trying to evaluate my recent ECG.................QRS complex is at 160 ms, QT interval: 440 ms

QTCINT: 514 ms.....................  P Axis: -16 degrees   R Axis: -32 degrees  T axis: 125 degrees.

I've read where my PM will influence these numbers...........to the good or to the bad?

Try this:

P-R interval = 0.12 - 0.20 sec (3 - 5 small squares) (120 - 200 ms)

QRS width = 0.08 - 0.12 sec (2 - 3 small squares) (870 - 120 ms)

Q-T interval 0.35 - 0.43 sec (350 - 430 ms)

When you get to the QTC number, it can go to about 500 safely  (IIRC).

The Pm can really only affect the PR interval, because that is the time between the two nodes functioning.  Then it can ONLY shorten it.  The others aree a function of your heart.  Once the PM sends a pacing spike, the heart is off & running on its own.
