Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.
Heavy beats...don't worry, be happy

Most everyone, whether they have a pacemaker or not, experiences heavy beats, hard thumps etc occasionally.
It's important post pacemaker not to get wrapped up in how your heart is doing. Now that you have a pacemaker, it's likely you're aware of your heartbeat as you never were before. Trying to figure out if every little thing is "normal" will not improve your chances of survival*, but it will drive you crazy.
If you feel heavy heart beats sometimes, all that means for sure is that your heart is beating. Rejoice. That is a Good Thing.
* Your chances, by the way, are very good. People with pacemakers live about as long as people without them.
