So I hope that one of you out can give me some advice and cheer me up a little. Most of you know my story by now. My last surgery was four weeks ago today nothing big just another ablation. So somebody please help me understand why I still feel no good. I still continue to have no energy in a way I think the doctors got my hopes up saying in two weeks your life should be back to normal and you can do anything.
I've been getting dizzy a lot more than I was, having a lot of spasms and its just not in my left arm and shoulder anymore it has traveled into my legs. I know my muscles are weak from not being as active as they were before but shouldn't they be able to tell me how to fix this? My incision looks great I can't complain about that but inside I feel lots of pressure and I still palpate all the time in the bottom part of my heart which I know is PVC's but shouldn't they be able to treat that instead of ignore it and say come back in Sept with a follow up.
I'm kind of a baby when it comes to pain anymore after all the other three surgeries I came out not being in so much pain just tired but this time I have no energy or nothing. I just can't come to understand it.
I was also wondering if anybody knows how common it is to have your SA Node completely removed. My heart rate is right where should be at 70 which is amazing. So any advice would be great.
I thank you all for all your continued support. Blessings to each of you!
Tammy

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
WELL!

Hi Tammy.
Since your life is supposed to be back to normal, and you are supposed to be able to do anything; when you go back to the doctor's office for your follow up, rent a motorized scooter that handicapped persons use to get around, and show up at his/her office, riding it, to show how well you are doing.
That should get their attention! Lol. Just trying to humor you. Lol.
Seriously though, I hope you start to feel better, it's well overdue.
I'd stay away from ablations now though. You need to give your body time to recuperate. Large areas of your heart have been burned. Apparently, this isn't the right course of treatment for you.
It wasn't for me, after 4 of them, for AFIB. It works great for some people, but depending on a person's condition, it does nothing for others.
Take care of yourself, keep in touch.
