Hi all,
I've posted several times here in the past year regarding excessive and long-term pain post surgery. I had surgery 1 year ago to get my pacemaker replaced and they put it under my pectoral muscle. I was having horrible pain for the first 4-5 months and it lightened up after but a year later I still have pain with big movements like jumping or even a bumpy car ride.
I got x-rays done at the chiropractor's office because my doctor wasn't listening to me. Come to find out, one of my ribs got pulled out of my sternum during surgery and thats whats been causing the extra pain.
I wanted to know if anyone else has expereinced this? If not, do you know how I could get this complication in research so we can avoid it for future patients?

Sometimes a device must be tuned a few times before it is right. My cardiologist said it is like fine tuning a car.
