I had my surgery on February 23 this year. At first it wasn't as much pain. But now I have severe pain in my shoulder, arm, and sometimes in my hand/wrist. Have any of y'all been through this? My doctor's won't give me any medicine for the pain but they want to do surgery on my arm.

You are four months post surgery of a device and should have much less pain by now.
Your doctor owes you a more complete explanation of the need for arm surgery. If you are not satisfied, get a second opinion.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.

You dont say why they want to operate on your arm. Is it anything remotely to do with your pacemaker/ICD or have you had some sort of injury/trauma?
