Hi agentx86,
Good, encouraging advice: just go with flow.
with the procedure scheduled for tomorrow morning, it is just what I needed to hear and not let my imagination go wild. Thank you to all who responded to my post.
Trying to go into this with a positive attitude. From what you and others have said: there is light on the other side of the procedure. Thanks a million for taking the time to write me. I won't forget and hope to be able to respond like you for someone someday.

Just knowing another new member is doing this tomorrow helps. I am having mine tomorrow as well for malignant neurocardiogenic syncope. Scared but trying to think positive! Good luck to you!

i am rooting for you!
Take the operation on and get back in the game. From reading the posts from others, success seems within your grasp in the immediate future.

Both of you will do fine.

Come back after and tell us all about it!
I'm not familliar with malignant neurocardiogenic syncope but it doesn't sound good. I was having long pauses and near-syncope, which pushed me over the hump from dealing with Aflutter to an AV ablation + pacemaker. While the ride hasn't been bump free, I felt better immediatly. We're all hoping both of you do, too.
It's only up from here

Best wishes for tomorrow. Cut yourself some slack, your body is having to adapt. It will get better.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
Relief is just in sight for you.

I wish you the very best, Ted. I have so little experience having had my bi ventricular pm implanted not quite 3 weeks ago. I have more energy that I can even remember having for a very long time.....it is like a new lease on life. I am pacing appropriately now and getting more oxygen than when my pulse was 40 all the time and I could do nothing without getting short of breath. I have been so pleased with the responses from the nice people here who understand the newbies' concerns and questions. Go get 'em and God Bless!
