If your pacer is on the left, no restrictions on the right side.

My doctor only restricted the arm in the implant side. Nothing over head, lifting, etc for 6 weeks.
Hope this helps

You don't say how long you have had your pacemaker, or whether it is implanted on the right hand side (as normally they are implanted on the left), but generally speaking gently lifting your arms is ok, but not suddenly lifting weights or anything dramatic in the first weeks of recovery.
The risk is of pulling the leads out of the heart wall before they have properly bedded in, and normally the medical advice is not to lift your arms above your head for upto 6 weeks. However, if you use the search function on this site you will find many comments that there is plenty of slack in the cables and this risk is, in reality, very low indeed, but a reminder that we are a community of pacemaker recipients, not experts, though some here have considerable experience and offer excellent practical comments.
