Hello All!
Another question to add to my already paranoia brain that something is wrong with this pacer. I have a little white pimple type thingie at the end of the incision. I've read that several people have this. Could it be an infection or am I overreacting? I go in for the check tomorrow.

Little White Lump

I've got the little White Lump thingie as well - I didnt' have stitches with my Operation though - they used the Glue to close the Incision.
I was told that it is one of the battery terminal wires protruding a bit and was also told to keep an eye on it incase it becomes infected.
It's been nearly a year now without any change so I guess it is what it is.
I've got my 12 Month checkup at the end of May so will query the Doctor about it again then just for peace of mind.
better safe than sorry

If there is even the TINIEST doubt it could be infected, get it looked at.
You know you're wired when...
You play MP3 files on your pacer.

My cardiologist is brilliant and after lots of trial and error got me running. I finished this years London Marathon in 3hrs 38 minutes.
Might be a stitch

I had one end of my insision that was refusing to heal up when one day I too noticed a wee white lump. As you do - had a gentle pick and a knot and about 3cm of "string" appeared.
Got it snipped off, cleaned and it healed up in a couple of days. The stitch had worked its way up and therefore not disolved.
Your GP/ or practice nurse could have look and advice you.
Cheers Jane
