I was just wondering about others, my surgery was September 26, 2017, and I received the pacemaker. I have had no problems at all. Soreness at the beginning, and just being careful about raising arm and that sort of stuff. But it's been almost 8 months now, and recently an aching pain has begun around the site and on site, like nerve pain or possibly arthritis. I just wondered if it is skelton pain or something might be wrong with site.

Hi Mary...
not to scare you, but I have had the same experience like you.
So in July 2017 I had my pacemaker implanted, then in March 2018 it started to get infected in the pacamaker site (at first it felt hurt). So last month my pacemaker was removed and relocated.
My advice is you need to check with your doctor. Hopefully the pain can be cured by eating antibiotic :)

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
At or about nine months

At or about nine months my implant site started to itch very badly. I'd also get aches and pains if I exercised too hard. Occasional sharp shooting pains. No fever involved. It gradually subsided over the next few months. It was just the underlying tissue healing. Hard to take at first but gradually things start to get better.
