Puckered scar

Has anyone else had a slightly puckered incision, like when you sew a stitch a little too tight ?  The incision is healing well otherwise, but I'm wondering if that puckering will go away.  I have a sneaking suspicion my surgeon was in training, as my hospital is attached to a university.  Maybe his skills at stitching weren't quite perfect.

Puckered Scar?

Mine is doing OK! 10-days along now, just started ITCHING a lot these last few days,  that tells me it is healing GOOD! Due for my FIRST FULL Check-up this upcoming Tuesday,  figure they pull those sutures out then,  will then give me a pretty good idea what the scar will look like???

Puckering will disappear

I had a simlar experience with a quite 'ropey' looking incision initially. This gradually went away over the following months and I now have a scar which is smooth and looks like a thin white line.

Thank you

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
