"Dr say say be a phantom memory of defibrillator shock"
I find this a thoroughly disengenuous comment to make! What kind of doctor is s/he? Never heard of such a thing and I've been a nurse for 50+ years!
Hope you're feeling better by now.

I'm 43 and have had my pacemaker four weeks today. I'm looking forward to living another 50 years and this marvelous device inside me will help me do that.
Test cycle?

By chance it's something I mentioned to my pacing technician the last time I had my device checked. I'd noticed that regular as clockwork I was feeling odd forcefull beats at 11:51.PM
He had a look and said for whatever reason that is the time my device was running it's "test-cycle" each day. Apparently they optimise their output each day.
He made some adjustments and it's now stopped, or more likely he's moved to a time when I'm in a deeper sleep.
Make a note of the time and see if it does to it at the same time each day. Then mention it to your pacing tech. If it's anything like over here in the UK. The cardiac consultants are very good, but normal GP's are pretty clueless about pacing.
