They've put me on these beta blockers for 30 days to help mitigate the PVCs. Now that I'm on them I keep hearing how hard it is to come back off of them.
Anyone else been on them only briefly? What was your experience? Thanks!
(Toprol XL 25mg, once daily)

I've only been on them a week, but I'm going to choose night time felt-PVCs to daytime fogginess and major stomach acid upsets. Since they have me on a small dose the doc said I should be able to just stop taking them, going to give it a shot.

I was on for 5 years so not exactly brief, but coming off them wasn't a problem. Less time on them should be easier to come off. You have to do it slowly, same as when you went on them. I cut the dose in half for a week, then to every other day for another week, then every third day. It took a couple of weeks to get off entirely, but I'd been on them a lot longer than you. I stopped being so tired and the brain fog lifted, I was thrilled to be off them.
