10 days ago I got my Pacemaker, cause my heart beats were far in-between, sometimes up to 5 sec. My pulse was between 40 & 60 beats per minute. My Doctor said I couldn't drive for a month, and I think he is being over cautious. My Doctor said to take it easy for about 3 months. I love exercising; jogging, swimming and some weights.

Driving in Michigan requires longer healing time

If you live in Michigan it takes a month to let the pacer settle in before driving because of the pot holes.

I think there are somewhat different time frames pending on the doctor and perhaps the procedure or condition
Mine was 2 weeks no dr inch and three week not lifting my arm over my head or picking up over 10 lbs
So probably best to wait 3-4 weeks for swimming.Jogging probably sooner once you feel ok.Mostly due to incision pain
but that’s just my take

Yesterday I moved to a new place in my mind and realized how bad I felt 'before' and the difference my pacemaker has made.

There are some precautions in the beginning. You should stay out of the water until the incision is fully healed to avoid any infections. It may be too soon for jogging....start walking and see how that feels. They want the device to settle in and the leads to embed first.
No driving for a month does seem long but we don't know your condition and maybe the doctor has other reasons?
