Finding the connection

A-fib can happen whether you have a pacemaker or not. It is more common in older people. The pacemaker doesn't cause it. Lots of times a-fib has no symptoms, and the a-fib is intermittant, so it's possible that the pacemaker may have detected a problem you've had for a long time.

There are lots of causes of fluctuating blood pressure. I can't say what the cause is in your case, but a common cause is aging. The pacemaker doesn't cause it.

If there is a connection between the three, it's being older. Bummer.

You know you're wired when...

You need to be re-booted each morning.
