I'm ready to give up!!!

Why does it take so many tries to login to this forum?

Also, half the time I can't post a comment because it tells me something I've done is invalid -- when it really isn't!!

I'm ready to give up...and that makes me very sad.

Hi: You have to use your email to log in -- and you have to pick a topic to post under when you need to post. What web browser/operating system are you using? I've done this successfully using Internet Explorer 6, 7, and Firefox on Windows, and using Safari, Opera, and Firefox on a Mac. Maybe you have a specific web browser that is causing some grief....

Patience, patience, patience. That is what is required and willingness to make umpteen tries also helps.

I too

I too was having those same problems. Only thing is my problem only came up whane I was trying to post to the woman who lost her husband. I know that it was not my computer or the programs i was using because i was able to post to others on here just not her. Also when I tried to email admin to let them know of my problem I had a problem with that as well. I hope you don't give up as it is a great site .I know the ones that run it are working very hard to fix any problems that may occur. I will try one more time to post to that one person and if it doesn't work I will write all the details of the problem in hopes to help others. I know it can be frustrating going through all the spam filters and then not being able to ask a question or ask for help. What I did was copy and paste it to an email that I emailed myself. Then I tried over and over. for a couple days. It didn't work but I didn't lose my "thoughts" and I then was able to post them as a private meesage which was better than not at all. Of course I am not sure if she got it or not as I have not heard back from her. I hope I did not say anything to upset her. Anyways, please stick with it as the people here are well worth it. Good luck Susan

I know the feeling !

Last night, it took me 30 minutes, and three attempts to post a message. I had to leave the site, come back later, and finally successfully post. Like you, after entering the letters from the spam filter, it came back as invalid.. Don't give up, it's still very new, and there's bound to be glitches, but in time, it'll get better, I'm sure. Relax, and stay positive. Take care, ~ Dominique ~

Thanks, Dominique, for making me feel more positive.. I've posted more easily after complaining here on this topic. (I'm just having a bad day, I guess). I really DO appreciate this forum and the administrators work hard for us, I know!..... I just felt like venting. Have a great day - - - Suze - -
