Took horrible fall yesterday flat on my face. Since then I have been experiencing sharp short duration pains in heart area about every 3 to 10 minitues. They are not regular but feel they are getting worse. Just sent print out to Cardiologist using my Latitude and will call him in morning. Not sure if I need to go to ER? Anybody have this type issue. Pacemaker installed this past Feb.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didnt slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
Everything isn't caused by your pacemaker

I can think of several reasons one might have sharp pains in the chest after a fall. Some of which aren't related to the heart or pacemaker.
When we have pacemakers, especially when they are new, we tend to associate everything that happens to them. But a cardiologist cant' diagnose a broken rib (for instance) by looking at a pacemaker printout. All he can say is, your pacemaker is fine, but that doesn't mean there's no problem.
If the pain is getting worse, go to the ER. Let them sort out whether it's a pacemaker issue or something else. That's what they do.
