Thank you for your response. I was told it is both leads ( go figure that out) I am suppose to watch for symptoms that it malfunctioning however I was sick for over a month and really couldn't say if it was due to that I felt off or this. I am just going to hope it was being sick.

It's either pacing or it's not. They should be able to tell that from the interrogation report. You can tell that from how you feel,if it stops pacing you'll feel like you did before you got it.
Me too

Hi, I have a st Jude pm, I think tendril leads, short story, have pm 8 yrs this month, check up in July showed one lead "noisy", eventually would have to be replaced, was not picked up on Merlin home monitor. I decedent to have it replaced sooner than later, replaced in August, both leafs since the second one started acting up. The old leads extracted, pretty intense. AnywY I thought the leads should last 30 yrs? Still have 3 yrs left on my battery life.
i was told better to do sooner since the longer you wait the more difficult it is to extract them, I won't lie it is
Finish thought

it is worse than initial pm placement, however it's replaced with MRI compatible leads.
please make sure your dr has done extractions, now the use a laser sleeve to get them out.
Good luck

Is it both leads or just one? Would be weird for them both to go at once. If they are still functioning, and it sounds like they are, you can wait until the battery needs replaced and do it all at once. That's what I did. It worked, but took extra juice to get the signal through so the battery life was shortened, they likened it to running the AC with the window open. The house still cooled but the power bill went up. I had room in the vein for another lead, so they added a new one, capped off the old one. If there is not enough room for a new lead, they have to either move to the other side or extract and start fresh. If you do a search for extraction, it's not uncommon and there have been lots of discussions about it.
