It's been 3 weeks since getting my pacemaker and things have been going well. A few unusual twinges and heartbeats, still some soreness and tenderness but feeling better every day. Haven't been very active - going out for lunch a few times, seeing a movie, doing a little grocery shopping, etc. So today I thought I would do a little baking. Long story short I ended up working in kitchen for about an hour. Then I started feeling a little weak. Managed to finish up and then sat in my recliner for a while. Feeling better now but am wondering if weakness three weeks after surgery is common. There are just so many new things to get used to it gets kind of overwhelming sometimes.

Hi, I'm 50 and 18 days post dual lead pacemaker and like you feeling better every day, so on Sunday pushed myself on a walk then light housework and suffered for it. I felt very tired and wrung out, my chest and arm ached and stiffened up so I have learnt that I'm not yet fully recovered and it will take time, much the same as you
take care
Donna
