Can you feel your pacer pulse?

Hi - i have bi-ventricular ICD/Pacemaker implant just 2,1/2 months ago.  There have been a few times where if I'm sitting quietly, i coud feel it pulsing now and then.  Haven't felt that in quite a while though, and suddenty today, I am feeling it, in a different way - through my bones - specifically in my pelvis - and it's been pulsing all day long.  Every 5-10-20 seconds it goes off.  It is so bizarre that I've never felt it like this before.  It's unmistakable - first I thought it was my phone vibrating or something, but nope, it was a very sudden onset and it's been going on all day.  Has anyone out there experienced anything like this?  And why do these things ALWAYS happen on weekends when you can't call any of the support nurses or doctors office!  It's so odd I don't know whether I should be concerned or not.

Feeling it

I only got my pm 1 month ago,  so I don't know much of anything.  But if I began to feel what you describe,  I'd call someone!  Have you looked at your monitor info? I would think they might have 24/7 help line. And most Drs.  have someone on-call for emergencies.  I wouldn't hesitate to call! I hope you get some answers and peace of mind!

We need a 24 hour helpline!

that would be such a good idea, xx

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
