After inplant

Is it okay to be in the sun without any covering over the inplant with sunscreen applied?

I'd be extra careful for the first year, apply diligently or keep it covered. You won't hurt it, but it will make a big difference in how it heals. The scars I was good about were flat and blended in after about a year. The latest scar isn't covered by a tank and I got sloppy, spent a lot of time in the sun with sunscreen, forgot once and got burned, applied once but didn't reapply fast enough and got burned again.. Eighteen months later and that one is still red and raised.
