Admin acknowledgement

I wrote this on another post but felt I should post it hre as well. I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that though there have been a few things with the new format that some of us either do not like or need to get used to , the admin. is doing a great job with not only listening to the opinions but also going with those ideas that seem to work to make the site easier to use. I know this is "their " site but they never make one feel as if our collective ideas aren't considered. They really are working hard to make all feel comfortable and at ease . While also working hard to keep the problems of spam and what it can bring to the site, such as, the porn posted here on numerous occasions, from happening very often or hopfully not at all.I beleive they know that we all add to the success of the site and they are reading so many remarks and following through with them whether good or bad. I think it takes alot with regard to ego to renew a site and then change some of the items one thought were great because they didn't work as planned.I also like the new format of the spam blocker. It is so much easier to read. As well as the adding of the forums to the left of the home page .Again another area where the admin. is listening to ideas and using the good ones. That is so important in leadership and the success of anything lies with those in charge to be able to put their egos aside and o what is best for the situation not for personal gratification. Kudos to you all. Thank you very much for all you do.

Thanks. Your comments are appreciated very much. Although I am not an admin, I am one of the people who does the actual programming to deliver this site; it's always a balancing act, trying to implement new functionality without leaving anyone behind because they have older systems, or are not as familiar with internet technologies. Blake does an excellent job of anticipating the needs of his users, and I commend him for it.

Take care, and thanks again.

You made my day

Our old site needed to be replaced as we simply outgrew it. As expected, we had and continue to have some technical issues resulting from the site upgrade. With over 6,000 registered members, we expected that not everyone would like every change. Once, we overcome the remaining technical challenges of the new site, I'm confident that most members will agree the overall change is postivie.

Thanks, Blake
