Hi,
I have pacemaker for 10 months now and was woundering, is it possible for pacemaker recipients to donate blood. I found in http://www.redcrossblood.org, that pacemaker alone is not impediment for blood donation. I just got answer from my local blood donation agency, that pacemaker patients cant donate blood without any explanation of the reason. So I'm wondering, has someone outside United States some experience with blood donations?

No matter, parent organization rules regarding blood donation, you will find local rules for the same organization take precedence. Don't assume because the National Red Cross says yes a local chapter will follow their guidance.
Can't give blood in the UK

Well that was an interesting question - I had not considered this before, so went on our NHS website and found the following about people with a pacemaker:
"We are very sorry but sadly you are not able to give blood. Removing blood from you may put you at a serious risk of having a heart attack."
You know you're wired when...
You have rhythm.

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

Everyone seems to have different experiences. Best thing to do is check with your local blood bank and ask them. In theory, we all can donate.
