At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
talk to your doctor and the hospital

Doctors and hospitals are often willing to work with you on both price and a payment plan. They will do a larger discount for cash up front. They can also direct you to an advocate that can help you find resources to pay what Medicare won't. Good luck.
