Teenagersbout there that are paced?!

Hey! My daughter is 14 and was wired last year. She has a pacemaker/defibrillator. Does anyone know of another teen or support system for her age group? There really is not much for teens. Thanks!

Here in the uk we have the British heart foundation who puts on events for teenagers with heart conditions so maybe you might have the equivalent wherever you are. Also if either you or her has Facebook there are a few support groups for young people with pacemakers on there that are really helpful. The hospital where I had my device implanted also does days out for young people every few months so maybe yours might do the same? You are right though there really isn't much support for younger people especially young teens
