St Jude Medical

Hi,

Does anyone know if St Jude Medical send an ID card or do I need to rely on the paper European ID card? It looks from their website that they send cards to people in USA but I'm in UK.

I received my first St. Jude plastic ID card about three weeks after my procedure.  I just received a new one even though there was no change in the information.  The new card was from Medtronic for some reason, and clearly identifies my St. Jude PM, the leads used and my cardiologist and his phone number.  The accompanying letter gave contact information so that I can notify them if there are any changes or I want new or additional cards.  This card is also encased in plastic.  Perhaps now that Meditronics is handling the ID cards, plastic versions will be sent to everyone regardless of where they live.

Thanks for your comments - I'll wait a few weeks and see if they send one and if not get in touch with them directly!
