Not on time!!!

Hello my friends!!! God bless you all. Here i am again asking if any one has had these problems. I have not been feeling the best...seems like something is "off". Like my pulse is delayed and it comes in late...not on time at all! I cant really explain it. I mean, it is like if your heart is supposed to beat and it doesnt for a second and you wait for that moment but it takes forever and you feel like you can die. Like, oh my God is my heart going to beat? And then it does. But the rest of the beats are all delayed as well. It is such a bad feeling. It makes me scared and sometimes i want to cry because i feel like...maybe this will be my last heart beat. I know i am young...I am 25, but just because i am young doesnt mean i cant be scared, right? Please give me your advice. Thank you in advance for your help. ;-)

Hello,
I feel so sad for you and what your going through. I know all about the doubts and the worries of your heart not functioning right. Rest your heart on God my dear. You'll come out of this mess in the name of our Lord. He will not give you more then you can handle. I'm so concern for you my friend. Make sure you see the doctor's as soon as possible, and make sure that you don't second guess if you need to go to the hospital. If you don't feel right make sure you go to the hospital and get checked out A.S.A.P..
My prayer to you O' Lord
Find a way to reach my friend
" Brokenheart "
Send her comfort and warmth
In these times of concern
May your love reach her heart
Find her where ever she may be
Renew her heart tonight
May Angels guild her every moment
Lord I send you my heart beats that you
May pass unto her
Holy Spirit touch her mind
In Jesus name I pray for healing
Amen!!!

Your mind plays tricks on you

I understand your problem. I sometimes wake up and feel my heart is racing, it's really scary. I would say it feels like its doing 180 bpm. It can keep me up for hours and hours. I had this on and off over a long time. One time it happened I checked it with a stopwatch and it was 72bpm. My mind was playing tricks, not my heart. It happens a lot less now, and when it does I check it with a stopwatch and my perception is corrected!

It can be useful to measure your vital signs for yourself, since your perceptions are not a good guide. A stopwatch is not affected by your emotional state, but your perceptions are. If when you measure, you do find a problem, now you know it is real problem and you can talk to your doc about it. Don't go measuring too much though, that can be come an unhealthy obsession.

Good luck,
M

hello! i feel for you. im also twenty five and have heart trouble. i had open heart surgery two years ago two remove a tumor and well its not uncommon for the heart to have damage after surgery as mine does. now i feel my heart beat in my throat and have lots of chest pain. was in the hospital last night to confirm i need a pacemaker since my heart goes for long periods of not beating at all. well at least it explains why i have been feelin so sick for the past four months. please see your doctor, it can be scary dealing with all this, but it has to be done. Good luck, keep in touch!!

Went to the doctor

Thank you all so much for your comments. I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank God for this site and all the wonderful people in it.
I went to the doctor today. He interrogated my pacemaker and told me i was having some pvcs and some pacs. So, the premature beats delay my pacemaker from kicking in on time and that is when i feel dizzy. He changed some settings and thinks it should help a little, however he also told me...you just have to deal with it. That is the cold shoulder. Oh well, i better get it through my thick skull that i have to just deal with my health issues and move on. Doctors can be so cold sometimes. :-(
I also got my night settings changed again. Hopefully, now i will be able to sleep.

It's awful when you get those pvcs and pacs - I used to get them for hours before getting the pacemaker. But I also take BETA BLOCKERS to regulate the heart rate and after a few months on those your heart will probably settle down to a better rhythm.
I had them for 35 years before getting the pacemaker so you can live with it. You might be getting a bit panicky with it as well so maybe something for anxiety might help.
Take care
