Lead came out

I've been so careful to not move my arm too much but went for my follow up today and one of my leads has came out and I have to have surgery again to place it back in position

It's much more likely that it was not in a good spot to begin with than it was something you did. Sorry to hear this, good luck.

Yes, it can happen

I had to have a lead revision too.

Interesting Patch, mine was the LV lead. That was about 5 years ago.

You'll be ok Sparkplug. You'll get through this too.

Hi
I feel for you as it has just happened to me too. I had my op 4 days ago to put the lead back into the correct place. The op was pretty much the same as the first so you know what to expect. It is a pain that we both have to go though another 6 weeks recovery. Keep your chin up though.

Not your fault

As the above three of our most experienced folks have already said, it was probably nothing you did but most likely not fully in place to begin with. Mine came out overnight after it was placed, obviously I didn't pull it out. Just "one of those things" that happens now and then.

Same but twice.

Had my first surgery 22 days ago. While in recovery I was told that a lead moved so they went right back in to fix it.  Now an X-ray shows that the second lead dislodged as well. In the meantime I have the same symptoms (lightheaded, fatiqued) I feel so sick I can't imagine the surgery again.  The first repaired lead seems to be pacing well. Maybe I'll just leave it as is. Any thoughts?

You know you're wired when...

You have a little piece of high-tech in your chest.
