PM Base Rate Increased on Its Own?

I'm new to all this as I just had a St. Jude pm installed in 11 Dec. It was set on 50 bpm as I've had a very slow rate for a long time. The pm worked as expected (base rate always 50) until 11 January when after exercising the base rate seemed to adjust to 60 bpm. The on 13 Jan. after exercise it went to 80 bpm where I am now. I've called my doctor and will have an interrogation on Tuesday. Has anyone ever heard of such an increase done automatically by the pm??

Thanks,
-Pat

You didn't fill out your profile so it's hard to give you a good answer without much information. That's just a minimum the pacer won't let your heart go under. That doesn't mean your heart can't go higher on its own, and sometimes it will pace you higher if you are active and need the boost.
