Go speak with the doc

You should speak to your Doc. Ask him to address all of your concerns. His answers may not give you complete satisfaction, but at least you'll be able to address the shortness of breath and most importantly; your feelings.
If you can't get a comfort level from your doc, then you need to find a new one.
I see that you have the new MRI compatible PM. I am about the same age as you and am working on my 4th PM. However, I still have the old style, because I have an old original lead.
In any case, you need to make the effort to come to terms with what you have and fix any issues that are fixable.
Sincerely,

David

It can take up to a year for it to fully settle into place and become less conspicuous.

If you are sob and feeling worse, talk to your dr. There could be something else going on, your settings may need adjusted, lots of things.

You know you're wired when...

Your device acts like a police scanner.
