In hospital :( drain in heart?

Well I am at the hospital and had an ablation for my tachycardia. Ended up being on the in and outside of my heart. Now I have a drain in my heart. It is so painful. Has anyone had this and how do you feel when it comes out?

I didn't have a drain in my heart but did have two drains in my lungs, through my ribs for five days following a hybrid ablation. Taking them out was done by pulling while exhaling. It was a sharp, strong burning pain that subsided quite fast. I was so relieved when they were removed! Are they giving you strong pain medication?

So sorry this is happening to you. Hope this will all be over and you'll be going home soon.
