Swelling

For everyone who's had a subpectoral pacemaker implant, how long did it take for the swelling to go away? I've seen some progress in only a week post implant but I assume there will probably be some residual swelling for maybe a month? Also, device probably settles in a tad deeper over time?

It took 6-8 weeks for me for the last of the swelling to go away. A heating pad on low helped. Yes, it may settle in deeper over the next weeks and months. I can barely even feel the edges of mine now.
