Well I bit the bullet and got a private consultation re' my on going problems with PM settings and Afib/flutter and PM tach. Not saying my first consultant was wrong but I felt dismissed by his last letter, basically I will feel better when I'm not so stressed!!!
Stress doesn't stop you pulling your wheelie bin up the drive or trying to push your mother in her wheelchair.
My upper setting is 110 to try and stop the PMT, and taking meds for the other stuff.
The new guy is going to have a look over my info and then we will have another chat, hopefully a fresh pair of eyes and a more specialised view will help.
It seems that my previous ablation is causing a lot of the problems with PMT due to an accessory pathway.
He spoke about the pros/cons of AV node ablation, and questioned whether I need the meds.
So we wait and see!!

I got the impression from my first consultant that I was to suck it up and get on with it and see what was what in July.
He maybe right with that, but my gut feeling is I'm pretty much functioning, going to work etc, and therefore low priority. Stability would be wonderful.

I couldn't agree more!

Yes, if you are going to get stability it seems that you are going to need to push for it. Keep it up!

If you get relief or not with the new doctor I must give you a great deal of credit. Instead of sitting around complaining, you did something! Keep after it as you have and I am sure that you will find relief.
