Pacemaker seems loose

It has been a little over two months since I received my pacemaker. At night it seems to shift a lot. Then it aches and I have to change sides to get back to sleep. I thought it would stay in place by now, but it still moves around. How long does it take for it to not move around.
Thanks for any help.

I had gone back to the gym, but over did the legs and had to recover from that. Seems something is always hurting.
I had done arms, etc. but used very little weight for them. Going back to the gym soon. We live in AZ so heat has not been a problem, but I will try to keep it warmer on the left shoulder. Thanks for telling me that.

It's been 6 years...

...and I still cannot sleep on my left side, it pinches and hurts too much. I constantly wake up switching from my back to right side all night long.

Most people do not have this problem, it usually subsides with time.

As far as your PM moving, when I lay on the decline bench at the gym for example, I can see and feel my device shift upward, as if it was coming out of the "pocket". It's a heavy, shifting feeling but I am used to it now. All part of the "new normal".

Good luck, you'll be fine.

I guess we have to be thankful and put up with the small inconveniences. We will be fine!

It hasn't been that long yet! It can take 6 months to a year to fully settle in.

Thanks

That helps a lot, thanks. I won't be stressing about it now.

Appreciate your words of wisdom

I guess we all want to be feeling great right away. Does not work that way with surgery of the heart. Just happy to have this pacemaker. Don't like hitting the floor.

I will be patient and deal with it. I do sleep well until it wakes me up. Guess I just have to turn over and let it go the other way for a while.

Thanks

How soon before I can use weights?

This is all good information on here and I try to keep up with the posts, but I am wondering how soon should I be trying to get back to my strength training? My left shoulder is hurting some and so is my neck on that side. I had my pm put in 2/23/15. So 6 weeks now. I am walking 2 and 3 miles a day. What kind of exercises should I be doing for the shoulder , any suggestions ? I guess the scar tissue that is forming is probably the pain I feel sometimes and I will try more range of motion to my shoulders. Also do you think it is okay to sleep on either side or the stomach ? I have lots of trouble trying to fall asleep on my back.
