I have had my pacemaker 3 months today. Before I got it I was a crossfitter for 3 years. I think it is time to get back to it. My worry is pulling the leads on different lifts. Does anyone know if the snatch and kipping pullups are out for me or can I do them without pulling anything. I know I will need to start out light but would like to at least get a 95 pound snatch again..also, what about overhead squats and handstand pushups? Not sure what i can and cannot do. Love my box just noone there has a pacemaker so noone knows how to answer my questions.

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.

You can definitely start back now! You are well past the recommended healing period. Ease into it and see how you feel. Some drs are more conservative than others. I've heard some go so far as to say nothing overhead but imo that is extreme. My dr basically said just use common sense, stop if it doesn't feel right. I do ohs, snatches, hspu, kips. I've been doing CF for 4 years now and don't have any problems.
The only thing I have trouble with is ring rows. They are not dangerous but they get so deep in the pecs that it aggravates the scar tissue and I end up sore enough to hold back the next day. I usually do dumbbell presses instead. I modify a few other things but it's from the meds I'm on, not the pm.
The main thing to watch out for is if the bar puts pressure on your leads or device when you clean it or hold in front rack position. Mine is low/deep enough that it's not an issue so I don't hold back. Try it and see how you feel. That's about the only way you will do damage, if you crush the leads with the bar.
Have fun! Let us know how it goes.
