Brady with PM

Has anyone else had sustained Brady with a single chamber PM? I'm set at 50 bpm, I sustained at 42 bpm while resting in the ER. I would also have fast heart rate too while resting. I see the heart doctor on the 30th.
My device was implanted this July, it's a leadless Nanostim.

Didn't I answer this question...

...already a few days ago under a different asker's name? I checked both names & found the same registration info.

What Tracey tells you above is correct - IF and only IF - you only meet the criteria for the Nanostim to function & solve your problem. As I said in my other answer, where I copied the criteria from the website, there are very restricted conditions in the SA node (Atrial chambers) that the Nanostim can correct. If you do not meet them, the device cannot help your problem.

You have stated here that you had sustained HR of 42 - SUSTAINED is the key word. The Nanostim cannot correct that, because that is an SA Node failure. It can only correct for intermittent AF w/ intermittent Brady. You are going to have to wait a week till you see your EP/Cardio to get your question answered. As Tracey said, It is great for an AV block, but lousy for SA troubles.

I was in 2nd degree heart block before the PM. The device interrogation says the machine is working fine. I feel like crap, with fast/slow heart rates, SOA, feel like I'm going to pass out.
Last month I moved two states away from the cardiologist whom implanted this study device. I'm waiting in much anxiety to see a new EP cardiologist in this state.
I went to a Nanostim device site last week, looking for help & answers, received neither.

diagnosis?

The leadless are very new so there isn't a lot of information on them and most of us have no experience with them.

Do you have av block? If yes, then it's only pacing the ventricles when the atria beats and your ventricles don't respond. That means if your sinus rate is 42, it can only pace you at 42. It's playing follow the leader rather than setting the pace. Pacing only the ventricles with av block makes the assumption that your sinus rate is normal.
