Hi all,
I just received a message in my account here as follows:
Charitable Donation From Mrs. Lisa Dillon.
Abidjan Cote D'Ivoire
Attention!!!!
Greetings in the name of the LORD Almighty the giver of every good thing. I know this proposal will definitely come to you as a huge surprise, but I implore you to take your time to go through it carefully as the decision you make will go a long way to determine my future.
Clearly this is not a Pacemaker Club related message. Just though I'd let folks know incase others are experiencing similar issues.
Cheers

I got the same message yesterday. Since I'm at work using my company computer I don't think I was hacked as security here is pretty high. I'm guessing they found this site by searching the internet and created an account and just randomly started sending that message to people. I just deleted it.

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
Hacked User, not Account

Most commonly these spams come from a 3rd party that has "hacked" into a users computer and recovered their address book.
Then they send out emails to one person from the address book and spoof's it from being from another person in the address book.
And it can from several combined address books from different computers.
The most common way that this happens is for someone to open a bogus email attachment.
