I had a Medtronic pacemaker implanted on June 2, 2014. No real problems and feel great. Until now....it appears my pacer, which was implanted IM, is now superficial. My cardiologist says because I am so active the muscle pushed it out. My question is..will reimplanting the pacer deeper in the muscle make a difference or should I just leave it alone? Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the advice. Am thinking this is where my body wants the pacemaker to be. So unless there is a problem, will probably leave it alone.

Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.

I would give it 6 months to a year before making a decision because they tend to settle in that time. If it's still uncomfortable or at risk for erosion, then you can look into redoing it.
