Heavy

When I get up in the morning I barely feel my PM but after doing a few things it feels like heaviness at the site. Normal?

Hiya Heartthrob

I have a similar feeling when I get up in the morning but it is getting much less so. In the first few weeks it was more pronounced almost like the weight of the device was pulling on the incision or maybe combined with fluid. As my healing has progressed it is very much less of a feeling. Not sure as you a female if your build affects this pulling on the incision area (don't know how you are built)

Is yours getting better as time goes on?

Tim

It is a few extra ounces in your chest and only on one side so yes, it feels heavy in the beginning until you get used to it.

Like the others said, it gets better.

It always feels good hearing that others are experiencing same as I am.
Tim, I am 62 regular 5'4" build. Before hospital and sedentary I weighed about 146' I am sure I have gained some but when I can be as active ad before, yoga and long distance walking, it will drop off.
I still keep my arm lower and not over my head as Dr instructed. Sometimes I do not notice much but after a walk and if I clean a small condo is when it feels heavy. Maybe it is a bit of fluid? I drink plenty of water .
Look forward to the day I get back to way I was before
