abdominal pain

Hi I am new here so hello to all. I have had a DDDR pacemaker fitted two days ago and I have started experiencing some pain in my solarplex area. It sort feels like indigestion, is this a normal feeling?

Are you on pain meds or antibiotics? They can mess with your stomach.

Welcome to the club.

Your pain is nothing to do with the pacemaker.

Certainly stress causes the stomach to make more acid ( the number of stomach ulcers causing problems in London in WW2 could be matched to German bombing raids!). Having a pacemaker inserted is stressful.
Lots of other causes for 'solar plexus' pain though.
Try some indigestion remedies. If it doesn't settle with this over a few days, seek a medical opinion.

Indigestion related to physical activity or emotional upset is more urgent and you should seek medical help more urgently.

You know you're wired when...

You can feel your fingers and toes again.
