Chainsaw

Anyone with a ST. Jude's ICD use a chain saw? I called the tech line and they are not sure. Thanks.

Thanks. I will try it tonight with help.
I use a lot of fire wood to heat the house and garage.
I like to do a lot of wood working in the garage all winter. Anybody know if I can use a router?

that's fine too!

Arc welding is really the only thing we can't do, and we have members who do that also. Don't keep your chest pressed to a running car engine or generator. 6" is the rule of thumb for anything questionable, but new pm's are very well shielded so it's rare anything you have at home is going to affect it. It's really just industrial magnets and things like that we need to be wary of. Worst case, if we get too close to something powerful enough to have an effect, it puts it in test mode and we feel weird until we get away from it. It's harmless.

OK

Ran the saw for two days now and no issues except a power nap today. :)

the problem with the chain saw is more from a vibration issue than an electrical issue. I've cut many, many cords of fire wook. Just take a break every 10 minutes or so!
Good Luck!
