BOSE ENTETAINMENT CENTER
HI, I have a pacemaker/defibrillator, I want to purchase a Bose entetainment cd/dvd entetainment unit. Has anyone had a problem getting a rapid heart beat with this unit. I know it has happen to me a few time when I was at a wedding with very loud music. I don't play music loud, but would like to know if this could effect my pacemaker. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a Bose System. PLus loud Music equipment (for playing live.)
Admin is likely bang on in saying it's probably your rate response unit. When they turned mine off (because I didn't actually NEED that function on my PM) I no longer felt anything when around louder music.
And no, from what I was told, iut wouldn't affect my PM.
By the way, I LOVE my BOSE system!!!!

I considered a Bose system, however, while I was in the store talking to the sales person, he said it was not advisable to own one because of the strong neodymium magnet that they use in their system & speakers.
So of course I did not buy it. You know it's bad when the sales man doesn't want to sale it to you.

jbkeys,
I would love to have a Boase system. I assume you have a rate responsive unit. I too have found my heart rate increases when listening to loud music. The effect is temporary and should not harm your device.
