getting out of bed
I too sleep on left side of bed and have pm on left. Even with left arm folded over chest, I simply reach over putting right hand on mattress and push with right hand . In doing this my feet just naturally drop to floor and I stand up. Have done this since home from hospital after pm insertion Seems no strain and I am over 75. Let your body mechanics for you. Trish

I had a pacemaker since 2002 and ever since then my life has been a total blessing.
Thanks.

Thanks trish. I grabbed a pillow and put it under my right side of body. Then I used my right arm to push me up. It worked! :)
I also got my hair shampooed! Even though it's only the third (or second) day after my insertion, I couldn't stand it any longer. Dry shampoo product made it worse! So I washed my hair with a lot of plastic bags on my upper body and only used my right hand. I cut my hair short before the surgery. So it didn't take too much time. So comfortable now! :)
