Hi,Just reading report of ICD settings and not sure what exactly Fast VT Zone rate means and where report says Therapies what does CV mean.Could anyone enlighten me please?

VT and CV abbreviations

The abbreviation VT means 'Ventricular Tachycardia'.

The fixing rate of the Fast VT zone enables your ICD to selectively detect the ventricular tachycardia rate- this is important to detect when your heart is going to cause you to not function, as opposed to just a fast heart rate ( this is medically called a tachycardia)

I think CV probably means 'cardiovascular therapies'- i.e. treatment for your heart and arteries.
