"noise found from home montior"

Hello,

I am a newbe to this site. I just recently had a Surescan pacemaker implanted Dec. 2013. The crazy thing about it all is I am an MRI Technologist. Everything was going great until my first home monitor. I just received a call from the office that the strips did NOT show anything wrong BUT she told me something about "noise" being picked up as well. I researched and it talks about a broken lead or screw malfunction. I have an appt. soon but was hoping someone might have any information or ideas on this. I understand I go into the MRI room everyday so I know there is interference with the device but was fine for several months. Could this be false pick up since I do work in MRI? Please let me know if anyone has info.

Thanks,

Julie

your post the first thing that popped into my mind was that your home monitor or phone line was the source of the noise on the data. Not your PM.

I'd ask if that's what was meant before I got to concerned.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
