Hi All,
Hope all is good and your PM is giving you the best out of it.
May god be with you all and continue to give you support each day.
Question,
Mom with kids in the USA, can you give an average cost to change the battery on a kid age,8 yrs old.
Appreciate your response...

I had mine replaced about a month ago. I saw the claim on my insurance web site. The insurance was billed around $55,000, they're paying around $33,000. Mt cost is $150. (I was expecting it to be $500 so was happy) It all depends on your insurance, deductible, etc.
With my old insurance I paid nothing for my original implant and a replacement.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!

Kids are no different than adults, we all get the same devices. It depends on where you are, your drs and your insurance. I've had 4 now. The least expensive was $1000 out of pocket, the worst was over $10K. Seems like each one the deductible gets higher and the amount covered goes down.
