hi jayknee here thanks for your comments , i am not allowed to drive because of my condition and i ve been shocked while i was awake and in my sleep. the genetic screening found the defective gene it was discovered that my elder sister has long qt but never had any problems and my one brother has it but never had any problems either my other brother and my other sister haven t got the gene, my daughter has the gene and in her early teens she had episodes of blacking out but no episodes since she turned fifteen she is now married with two children my grandaughter is two and a half she has nt got the gene but my grandson who is ten months old has got the gene and i do worry about his future but my daughter takes it all in her stride which makes me so very proud . i do feel guilty that my daughter has it but i did nt know i had the condition till i was forty four so when i got married and had my daughter i had no idea of what the future would be but i would nt be without my daughter or grandchildren but i do live with alot of guilt and worry for their future

My electrophysiologist said they are already doing testing of injecting dead viruses into mice to try and fix genetic heart issues such as long qt brugada ect...so hopefully in the future (sooner rather than later) this can be done for your grandkids and their kids and so forth!
